- Sorting quality: How many target items did it miss, and how much unwanted material entered each bin?
- Downtime: How often did the robot stop for faults, cleaning, jams, or tool changes?
- Human work: What tasks still need an operator, and how long does each task take?
- Cost data: What equipment, installation, service, and replacement parts are included in the quoted price?
These answers give you a better basis for comparison than a polished demonstration. They also show which parts of the system still need proof.
The biggest gains will come from robots that keep sorting when material is dirty, mixed, and poorly placed. Until a supplier publishes plant data with the test conditions, treat the claim as a trial result, not a purchase case.
